Here are some of the most commonly asked questions by prospective patients.

Do you accept insurance?We are in network with: Cigna Aetna United Healthcare Medicare (pending) We do not accept any other insurance at this time. For patients not in-network with the aforementioned providers, a one-hour new patient psychiatric evaluation is $400 and a half-hour follow-up is $175.

What are your fees?Forms or letters - $50 Medical Records - $25 FMLA Paperwork - $50 - $150, depending upon complexity. Disability Paperwork: Done on a case-by-case basis for established patients only

What is your cancellation policy?In the case of a scheduling conflict, all patients are expected to cancel their appointments 48 hours in advance. Failure to provide proper notice will result in a $75 no-show fee. Patients with three late cancellations or missed appointments may be discharged from the practice at the providers discretion.

What is the protocol for prescribing controlled substances?Controlled substances including benzodiazepines, such as Xanax® or Valium®, and stimulants, such as Adderall® or Ritalin®, are prescribed with great caution to ensure patient safety. Before prescribing controlled substances, providers follow strict protocols to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance. This includes checking a database of the patient's controlled prescriptions, both when starting and continuing treatment. All patients prescribed or seeking these medications are carefully monitored through the database to prevent misuse and ensure proper management. Provider reserves the right to withhold or decline the prescription of controlled substances if, in their clinical judgment, there are concerns regarding the safety, appropriateness, or medical necessity of the medication. This decision is made to ensure the highest standard of care and patient safety.

Do you offer in-person or telehealth visits?I am pleased to offer both options to my patients for their own comfort and convenience. For the office location, please refer to the contact us page.

Do you offer emergency services?As a small private practice, we are unable to provide emergency services. If you are experiencing a mental or physical health emergency, please go to the nearest emergency room or call 911/988. You may also contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.
